To reach Lumina Studio House from downtown Silver Spring/Takoma Park:
Walking or Driving—
Fenton Street (towards Colesville Road) to Wayne Avenue, TURN RIGHT (past Whole Foods)
Wayne Avenue to Springvale Road (First after Cedar), TURN LEFT on Springvale Road
Pass Springvale Terrace Retirement Community on your right.
TURN RIGHT before Pershing into parking lot at the top of the hill - this parking lot serves Lumina Studio & Springvale Terrace Retirement Community
DROP OFF/PICKUP students at the front porch
EXIT by driving around inside the parking lot to exit onto Springvale Road
Parking in the neighborhood is NOT PERMITTED and there is restricted parking in the parking lot.
By Metro—
Take the Red Line train to the SILVER SPRING station. Exit the station and proceed to the bus pick-up site. Either Metro Bus J4 or Ride-On Bus 12 will take you near Springvale Drive and Wayne Avenue. Walk up Springvale Drive one block to Pershing.
Lumina Studio is on the right at the top of the hill.
