by David Minton.  This is the NEW sequel to the story of Joey Jinx and company.  Find out what happens to Joey, Big Girl and the others who live in Vortex City.  Concluding with performances at Round House Theatre, Silver Spring, this theatre experience is sure to be a hit.

FOLK TALE THEATRE I and II
Lumina’s youngest actors have fun exploring a Folk Tale and turning it into a special performance.  Actors receive direction for stage presence, vocal techniques and character development.  Actors use their imagination to help create costumes, props or sets.  Each day includes theatre games, art activities, outside play (weather permitting) and rehearsals.  A performance for family and friends in the Lumina Black Box concludes the session.

SUMMERSTOCK PLAYERS’ THEATRE
The Portrait of Anushka Twilight is the follow up story to The Amazing Apparel Trilogy written specifically for Lumina actors.  This story follows Anushka Twilight and her sister on more adventures.  Actors learn vocal techniques, work on character development, line memorization tips and choreography.  Each day time is spent playing theatre games, rehearsing, lunching outdoors at a local playground (weather permitting) and honing their acting skills.
July 1 - July 19**  extended to 3 weeks!
