For 15 years, Lumina has been helping young actors discover the wonders of the theatre’s spotlight! For 100 productions, the youth of our community have been introduced to Shakespeare and helped to develop an appreciation of the classics and a love of language.

Volunteering
Volunteers are essential to ensuring that Lumina’s young actors get the most out of their theatrical experience. Volunteering is fun, rewarding, and educational. The opportunity to work behind the scenes with these young, talented actors is a treasured and unforgettable experience.
There are volunteer opportunities outside of the production as well, such as the twice yearly “clean up day” and other special events.
Lumina welcomes volunteers from Middle School age and up. Lumina is authorized to offer Student Service Learning Hours (SSL) towards Montgomery County School’s graduation requirements.

Employee Matching Gifts
